Every time I make something new, my appreciation for other people who make things grows enormously. No matter how many times I release new projects, I am shocked—shocked!!—by how many moving parts there are to making a thing and then getting it out into the world and…anyways. I am also SO EXCITED to announce that the podcast is live and that a trailer and two whole episodes have been released like tiny little krakens!
The trailer is, you know, a trailer. It gives you an overview of the episodes coming up this season.
Episode 1 is told by Dr. Kim Corson, and is all about grief after the loss of parents, but also about a treasure hunt inside of a suburban home following clues left behind by the recently deceased.
(For some reason I can’t get the player for this episode to embed here, so please acccept this boring linked text instead.)
And episode 2 is a story from Jack Massing, one half of the conceptual art collaboration, the Art Guys. He talks about how the mystery behind objects—and one object in particular—led to him becoming an artist (and so much more!).
Anyway, check it out—I hope you like it, love it, want some more of it. Subscribe, rate, review, etc. And check out show notes on the show website.
And submit your stories! You might be featured here in the newsletter or on the show. Find ways to do that on the show website.
And now I’m going to do more of the 10,000 things needed to announce the birth of a new thing.
